Payment orchestration platform MoneyHash has added Geidea to its network of integrated payment providers, the companies announced at Seamless Middle East in Dubai on 24 September. Businesses using MoneyHash can now access Geidea’s online payment gateway and its supported payment methods across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt through their existing MoneyHash integration, without building and maintaining a separate connection.
Geidea, founded in Saudi Arabia in 2008, is one of the region’s larger payments providers, with acquiring capabilities in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, payment aggregation in Egypt and a suite spanning POS, terminals and business-management tools. For Geidea, the arrangement is a distribution channel into merchants that run their payments through orchestration. For MoneyHash, it adds a heavyweight regional acquirer to its catalogue.
Sixth Partnership
The announcement is the sixth partnership MoneyHash has publicised in roughly the past year, after noon payments, Visa (a multi-year Cybersource enablement deal), HyperPay, Azm Fintech and Telr — the last announced seven days earlier at Money20/20 in Riyadh. Each follows the same template and discloses no commercial terms. Read as a sequence, they describe the ordinary work of an orchestration platform: accumulating connectors.
The context is real even if the individual deals are incremental. MoneyHash, founded in 2021 by Nader Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid and headquartered in New York with roughly 30 staff, has raised about $12 million, most recently a $5.2 million pre-Series A led by Flourish Ventures in January 2025. The company claims more than 300 pre-integrated APIs covering 100+ markets, enterprise clients including Tamara, Kitopi and Brands For Less, and a quadrupling of processing volume in 2024 — figures that are company-reported and not independently verified. It pegs regional payment failure rates at three times the global average, its core argument for orchestration in the region.
What the announcement does not contain: commercial terms, exclusivity, pricing, volumes or named merchants. Functionally, the partnership is an API connector in a catalogue. A fact merchants weighing MoneyHash will care about. And a milestone that is best understood as one data point in MENA’s ongoing payments consolidation. Rather than a development in itself.

Editor’s Note
This item, in fact, is based on the MoneyHash–Geidea press release of 24 September 2026 and regional trade coverage. Also, MoneyHash’s own blog and funding announcements (TechCrunch, Disrupt Africa, Wamda). And, Geidea’s public company profile. MoneyHash’s scale, growth, integration count and regional market-failure figures are company-reported and could not be independently verified. Partnership terms were not disclosed and neither company was contacted for comment. TechRecast rated this announcement as a short news item rather than a full article, per its editorial framework.
