Flipkart Casio After-Sales Partnership Puts 250+ Service Centers Behind Casio Products in India

Casio Hands Its India After-Sales to Flipkart’s F1 Info Services

Flipkart has signed Casio as the newest client of F1 Info Services, its dedicated after-sales arm. Under the partnership, announced in Bengaluru on September 29, F1 will provide walk-in repair and replacement for Casio calculators across more than 250 service centers in 228 cities spanning 23 states. Watches and Electronic Musical Instruments get a smaller footprint: 25 centers across 24 cities in 17 states. Both in-warranty and out-of-warranty products qualify.

Casio and F1 trained the participating technicians through a “Train the Trainer” model, with technical tests required before deployment, the release said. Service runs on F1’s COCO model — company owned, company operated — across Tier-1 metros. Casio’s website and call centres will list center addresses.

What Casio is buying

The deal gives Casio an instant national service network it does not have to build. That matters to its India strategy. Managing Director Takuto Kimura has said the company aims to triple its sales by 2035 and is pushing into Tier II and Tier III cities. Service coverage across 228 cities supports that plan.

Kimura has led Casio India since early 2025. The company has sold calculators, G-SHOCK watches, and electronic musical instruments in India since 1996.

What F1 actually is

F1 Info Solutions and Services is not a new name in device repair. Founded in 2012, it joined the Flipkart group through a 2017 acquisition that aimed to build repair and refurbishment capabilities. It now describes itself as India’s largest authorized multi-brand service network, with more than 340 service centers across 600-plus cities and 30-plus brand partners. At the time Flipkart bought it, F1 ran about 158 centers in 135 cities.

The arithmetic of the Casio signing is telling. More than 250 of the network’s 340-plus centers will now service Casio calculators, which suggests the deal largely monetizes infrastructure F1 has already built. For Casio, the same signature buys coverage that would take years to construct.

F1’s parent Jeeves, Flipkart’s broader after-sales arm, runs over 900 service locations with partners including Samsung, LG, Google, and Apple. F1 has operated dedicated Google Pixel service centers since 2024 and has served as OnePlus’s authorized service provider since 2020. It also helped appliance brand Admiral enter India.

The quiet B2B business

The deal’s real significance is the pattern it extends. Flipkart’s service arms now sell after-sales coverage to brands regardless of where customers bought those brands’ products. Jeeves and F1 together cover 40-plus product categories and say they have served more than 90 brands.

Nitin Bhan, who heads Jeeves and F1 Info Solutions and Services, framed it as partnership infrastructure. “Our partnership with Casio allows us to provide reliable walk-in service across key categories,” he said.

Casio, whose products sell heavily through offline retail, gains e-commerce-grade service infrastructure. Flipkart gains another revenue stream from a network originally built for its own marketplace. Neither side disclosed financial terms, duration, or exclusivity.
